English Conversation Class

Tuesdays 10am – 12pm | $60 per term

This class is for adult learners who already know some basic English. For example, they can say simple sentences, understand everyday words, and engage in short conversations in English. Our focus will be on: vocabulary, listening to and speaking everyday English.

Lessons will be based on various practical topics. We will have large and small group activities. We will provide handouts and homework assignments. We will also do a field trip and have social events. Classes are limited to a maximum of 12 learners.

Tuesdays 12:30 – 2:00pm | $40 per term

This class is for adult learners who have completed at least one term of our Topics-based Class. Students should be able to follow a spoken story and discuss questions about the story and from your own experiences.

Lessons will be based on stories throughout the Bible. We will explore what the Bible has to say about life. A homework handout will be given with the written text of the next story and important vocabulary to support understanding in the next class. Classes are limited to a maximum of 8 learners.
