***UPDATE: If using the Tithely pledge tool, please note you should turn off Auto Pay on the second page. After you choose your pledge amount and click Create My Pledge it takes you to the Fund My Pledge page.

When you get there, you will see a YES/NO toggle button to toggle AUTO-PAY on or off. Toggle AUTO-PAY to NO then you can go to the bottom of the page and see a button that says FUND LATER. That is what you want to do so that you are only making a pledge and not a donation at this time.***

We are excited to announce that we will be collecting pledges towards the construction of a new sign for Brookswood Church. At our recent congregational meeting on Oct. 24, 2021, Bob Duncan, our facilities manager, made a proposal that Brookswood Church has need of a new modern, clean sign to better represent the church to the community. A number of people spoke in favor of a new sign as one way of communicating with the community the good work that is happening through Brookswood Church. There was a clear desire to reach people with the good news of Jesus Christ that was expressed, which was exciting to hear.

Now a sign is not a replacement for us believers going and sharing the gospel but our sign does say a great deal about our church to the hundreds of cars and students travelling down 36 Ave. each day. Our sign is not primarily for insiders but for those who do not yet know God.

The cost of a new digital sign is $25,000 and we can’t pull this off without your support. Whether you give to the church on a regular basis, or just attend on occasion, we’re asking you to consider contributing to this undertaking prayerfully. It’s something we need our entire church community’s help with.

Even if you can’t pledge a large gift, know that every little bit helps. It’s more about coming together as a community united behind a common cause. We hope that you’ll consider making a pledge towards this step that we’re making together.

There are pledge cards for people to fill out and drop in the offering box and this pledge page for those who want to make their pledge online. Please note we are not accepting donations towards the new sign at this time but we want to encourage everyone to prayerfully consider filling out a pledge card and we will only move forward once the support for the project is there. Thank you for continuing to support the mission and vision of Brookswood Church. Watch your email and the website for more info.
