Brookswood Kids Weekend Ministry

Kids Ministry will be available on Sundays at our 10am services. This will be for preschool (ages 3 & 4) and Kindergarten through grade 6. Our Nursery is open for parents to hang out with their babies during the service.

Please Note: Children in K-Gr. 6 will remain with their parent(s) in the Worship Center for the opening of the gathering, and then will be dismissed to their classes after the first set of worship.

How it works: All children should be checked in before the service starts using our electronic Tithely Check-In system. Parents please escort your children to the Student Center when the MC dismisses them, then pick them up after the service with your parent tag.

Safe & Secure Children's Check-In System
Safe & Secure Children's Check-In System

Dear Parents,

At Brookswood, nothing is more important to us than the safety and security of your children. That’s why we’ve chosen to launch Tithely Check-In as our children’s check-in solution. Tithely’s easy to use electronic check-in system will improve child security, streamline our check-in process, and provide added peace of mind. We will go live with Tithely Check-In on Oct. 31, 2021. It is important you create your account prior to this date.

Parents, create your free Tithely Check-In account, then add each person in your family by using the “add a person” button on the right-hand side. Create your account from the comfort of home; it’s simple and will only take a few minutes.

Creating your account prior to the above date helps us have a smooth transition and helps your first check-in go more quickly so you can get on your way. Once you’ve created your account, simply use your 10 digit phone number or last name to check-in with us and print your child’s name tag and matching parent tag.

We are excited about using Tithely Check-In and it’s many benefits. Create your free account today.

Tell me about Samuel. Were you surprised that God chose to speak to Samuel when he was just a kid? Why or why not? What are some ways God speaks to us? (Through the Bible, prayer/talking to God, a word or picture in our thoughts, an idea to help somebody else, through experiencing nature, etc.) How can WE talk to God? What do you want to say to him?

Older Kids Convo Starters:

What does it mean to obey? How did Moses obey God?

Your First Visit

Here's what to expect when visiting Brookswood Kids for the first time:

First, find the area marked for Brookswood Kids Ministry. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

  • parent/guardian name(s)
  • child's name
  • child's birthdate
  • home address
  • phone number
  • special instructions (allergies, special needs)

How Check-In Works

Before Service: You can check in your child at any available kiosk. After your child's name is in the database, you and your child will be given matching tags. Your child will wear the name tag portion while you hold the matching parent tag.

After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child's room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

Your child is important to us. This is our way of ensuring your child’s safety during weekend services.

***Tithely Check-In is going live Oct. 31 2021. Please create your free account prior to that date using the button below.

Nursery (6 mo - 2 yrs)

Your child is a beautiful gift from God and we are here to care for and love your baby or toddler. We also are excited to help introduce your child to their Creator through play, songs, stories, and prayer time.

Preschool (2 - 4 yrs)

Each week your child will be welcomed by caring and compassionate teachers and helpers. Your child will participate in singing and will hear the Bible story creatively taught. Then it's time for Bible verse memorization, prayer, activity time, and craft.

Grade School (K - Gr. 6)

Your primary school-aged kids are invited into a friendly atmosphere to play games, craft, worship, learn a Bible story, and connect with friends and leaders. Then they will get to reinforce the Bible lesson through further activities and discussion in their age-based small group.
