Registration is currently available for:
Women's Soul-Care Retreat (Aug. 9-11 - Registration Deadline July 26)
We are so looking forward to this time away with God & our sisters in Christ, to care for our hearts, draw near to our heavenly Father, enjoy good food & fellowship as we rest & worship together. The theme this year is Shalom and how we care for our bodies and souls according to God's design to enter into the peace and rest He has for us. All the sessions will be biblical and practical, with lots of time for fellowship or silence & solitude in between. We'll also have times of prayer and worship, and lots of really good food.
We'll be spending the weekend at Kelly's lovely farm, at 1326 - 228A Street, Langley - it's beautiful and peaceful, outside the city so we can all relax but close enough that if you'd rather come home to sleep in your own bed (we totally get it) you have that option. You also have the option of sleeping over, either in the tent or the cabana.
You have two options for Retreat length:
4:00 pm, Friday, August 9 - 9:00 pm, Saturday, August 10
This includes all the sessions so you won't miss any of the content; we understand not everyone can commit to an entire weekend.
If you would like more time for fellowship, silence & solitude, worship, prayer, etc., then you can register for the extended retreat:
4:00 pm, Friday, August 9 - 5:00 pm, Sunday, August 11
The cost is the same, $75 for the whole retreat which is payable to Brookswood Church the same way you normally give (just mark that it's for Women's Ministry). Please visit the Give page for more information, and remember we always have bursaries available to cover all or part of the cost - simply contact us at women@brookswoodbaptist.com and let us know you'd like to use the bursary.
While we aren't advertising this retreat to other churches and communities, if you have a close friend or family member you would like to bring they are most welcome to join! Just make sure everyone registers by July 26, so we can provide enough food for everyone.
