English Conversation Class
At Brookswood Baptist Church we would like to encourage the people in our community by providing an English Conversation Class that will help expand their English conversation skills. This class is intended for adult learners who already have some speaking and listening skills and an understanding of some written English.
Our desire is to offer a safe place for newcomers to Canada to expand their English through:
Helping support their transition to Canada
Providing opportunities for new friendships
Improving their English conversations skills
Gaining some cultural understanding
Class sizes will be limited to a maximum of 12 learners to provide the best opportunity to strengthen skills by keeping classes small. Handouts and homework assignments will be provided and are covered under the registration fee. Classes will be a combination of large and small group activities.
For Adult Learners
Tuesdays 10am – 12pm
10-12 Week Terms
$50 per term
Fall Term begins September 16, 2025
